But not all

So this blog is going to be based on all the songs I HAVE heard. I might miss some amazingly beautiful songs. So forgive me

anyways lets get on with list (and this list is based on NO particular order. Wrote songs by the order I remembered them)

1. Feel Special by TWICE

This song. Loved by many. Not-so-loved by many

BUUT

I have always liked this song. It has never managed to be on my favourites but still I haven’t got bored of this songs even though listened to it several times

Let’s take a look at the lyrics

I interpret that the members are reflecting the love and support they receive from each other. They might be talking about the struggle of fitting the “perfect” picture of a Kpop idol, the problems and criticism they face because of it. But in the end, they have each other to comfort

I like how this song about the sad reality is mixed with some mystical beats to make it sound upbeat

2. Can’t you see me by TXT

TXT are my ults. My favourite group. Most of there songs have GUh rEaT lyrics. This was the FIRST song I ever hear by them

so…ahem. Nostalgia is attached

This song, embraces the “dark side” of friendship. As explained by TXT themselves Eternity (the name of the album) is about facing troubles in relationships. They resent each other, but at the same time, they hope that their friends will save them.

Quite unique when literally every 4th generation group is making songs on “I am perfect” or “no need to be like others” and “I am not like them”

3. Dalla Dalla by ITZY

Speaking about 4th gen, we have the queens of 4th gen themselves, itzy.

The lyrics of Dalla Dalla:

Just pretty but not attractive at all.

I’m different from the kids. I’m different.

Don’t measure me by your standards alone.

I love being myself.

I’m nobody else.

DDA-DDA-LA (Dalla means “different”)

So as you can see, this song too is made on the “Oh so common” framework of the 4th gen, that is “I am not like the others, I am different”

But still. I like it. And the lyrics ARE good. So there

4. Celebrity by IU

IU is the top soloist queen in Kpop. She has a beautiful history of making beautiful songs and then singing those beautiful songs in her beautiful voice. Celebrity is her latest release and although her songs arent exactly my style, I loved this one

Lyrics: (I suggest you read all the verses. But this one is just the 1st verse and the chorus)

She told that she wrote this song for an unnamed friend. She greatly admires this friend of hers, which is visible by the above lyrics as IU refers to this friend as her “celebrity”. IU also mentioned that this friend of hers has been strongly criticized for her unique, out-of-the-ordinary stylistic leanings.

The lyrics are beautiful. Each verse is more beautiful then the before. So I suggest you read the whole song
