I Finally went on a TRRRRip !!
We. were. done. being. inside. our. house. stuck. for. this. whole. year
And now all the travel places have opened and most of them are following the safety guidelines. As long as you are away from people, living in a clean, trusted place, eating good quality, hygienic made food, one need not worry that much.
So Me, Mum, and Dad along with my verry close friend and HER mum and dad SUDDENLY planned a trip to go to Sariska, Rajasthan
So
This is a tradition
WE ARE NEVER ABLE TO MAKE A PLAN FOR ANY SORT OF TRIP QUICKLY
LIKE
I AM SERIOUS
NEVER
But good god we were able to this time (because both of the families cooperated into and……………ya. But remember, this planning also took 2 months to actually come true….so….hehe)
ANYWAYS
We were first planning to go to the mountainside. Like this beautiful place
So I wanted to go to a chilly, hilly, silent, peaceful place because it had been a while since I went to the mountainous region.
So
We discussed. But due to some issue (that I don’t remember), we planned to not go there. Instead, we planned on going somewhere near. And, As I am living in Delhi, the nearest tourist destination is Rajasthan. We planned to visit Sariska National park, a tiger reserve known for, well, TIGERS !!!
So This trip was a 2 day 1 night trip, a short one cause it is still not THAT safe you know.
1st DAY: We woke up extra early, at around 5 am in the morning. I didn’t realise how chilly it can be in the morning during a chilly month. But Oh well, we woke up, packed, ate, did some final packing, ate a little more and jumped in the car and went offf
SO
The place we stayed at is called the Dadhikar Fort. It is is Alwar. So it is this fort/castle converted to a hotel sorta thing. It is not HUGE. It is small and cute, which, I personally like. It feels very comfy and doesnt feel overwhelming like it does for MANY forts. Also a LOT of forts feel creepy.
But this one??
Nuh Uh
It was cute, and comfy and amazing food was there. Like DELISH!!
It is a 3 hour something drive from Delhi to Alwar but because of less crowd, we reached a little early. We had a small stop at one restaurant thingy but we didn’t eat there. We just stretched our legs and stuff and the parents had tea and some other nick nacks we had packed from home
and then
I got car sick
Yup
“Perfect start to a vacstion”
just perfect
and the rest of the car ride I was sleeping. Not cool, but then I found a cure so for the other car trips, I was fine
anyways
We reached the fort in broad daylight, at around noon, and had enough time to relax and unpack and explore the cute castle. It had like a bunch of staircases which led to different places. SO we discovered those staircases and chilled out in the terrace. We ate our lunch and talked and played a little, and ate a little more and talked a little more. Then we went out for a little walk to the nearby village and saw some ultra-cute buffaloes with VERY CUTE eyes. We talked to a few village people cause my father likes to talk to everyone he is around. So ya
and we came back
made some videos and took some (a lot) of pictures and then went up the terrace and took some more pictures. Then we took a little break, took a quick nap (that lasted just a few minutes) and then me and my friend went off to play table tennis
and well
well
we are Hhhorrible at it. We kept dropping the ball and laughing. So basically one can say that we were not playing. Just goofing around.
After that we got super hungry
we wanted food
and mah friend really picky
so she wanted “CHINESE” in a “RAJASTHANI” hotes which serves “INDIAN and RAJASTHANI” food
and as expected
the Chinese was really not good
And that was a fail. SO DONT GO ORDERING THINGS THAT THEY DONT KNOW HOW TO MAKE
Lesson learnt?
Great!!!
Then we went on a little night walk, sat in front of a bonfire, talked and went back to sleep.
DAY 2 ANNEYONG !!!
Ooooohk
So day two was basically our last day of the trip, so we planned to make the most out of it.
Everyone woke up super early (except me of course). While the sleeping monster was SLEEPING, everyone took some light morning strolls and drank tea and stuff. Then when sleeping monster finally woke up, we planned to go TrRrRekkkkking !!!!!!!
Wooohooo
Probably one of the best part of the whole trip. We went up the hill, which initially looked humungous, but we trekked the whole hill in just 10 mins or so. We were talking and joking all the way up. AND
WHEN WE REACHED UP
GOSH
THE VIEW
OH MY GOSH
*i am not a good photographer so excuse me. But you kinda get the idea. Now top this location with cool breeze, birds chirping, warm sunlight and the company of your friend and your family. Wooowieee
We got back, had breakfast, made some reels, talked (yup, we do that a lot) and then…………….
WENT TO SARISKA NATIONAL PARK A.K.A A TIGER RESERVE
Long story short, we did a safari which was I guess 2-3 hours long. I love forests. They are so peaceful. I mean driving on a JEEP is not THAT peaceful but still. We used to stop near a pond or some quite place and stay there, silent for some time.
But
It was a tiger reserve
We went there to see tigers
We. Saw. None
LIKE NONE
SO DISSAPOINTING 🙁
But I can understand. The tigers are less and spread over a HUGE area. So most of the time, they are deep inside the forest not wanting to show their magnificent selves to a few poor people who come all the way from Delhi to Sariska (which isnt that far away but still) to see them
I understand
Totally
and that was basically the last thing we did. After the safari, we climbed back in the car, and made our way back home. I was sitting alone with the bags so I planned to pop in some earphones and listen to some music.
It was definitely a good idea 🙂
I listened to A BUNCH of Kpop songs (Btw Stan TXT) and ya
Then we reached a place to eat. And the Food. DELISH
And slowly we arrived towards the end of our trip. Sad but It was so funnn. I literally wanna go to a trip again, right at tis moment. But we gotta wait, cause why not
So
oooof
It was my first time writing something travel related. You gonna see some more soon because I realized that I actually like blogging my travel
So keep waiting 😉
Until Next time
TA-TA!!!!
