How to NOT make this Holiday a bore + some extra ideas
Eyo
I am back
As always
Holiday season is up on our heads, and I thought, lemme just give ya’ll some ideas on how to NOT make this Holiday season a bore.
I have listed down not so many but fun and interesting ways and ideas on how to make this holiday season a fun one. So let’s start. These are going to be RANDOM ideas which not necessarily needs to be done in the holiday season itself. They can be done all year round. So let’s see what these ideas are
1. Revamp your Wardrobe
Having a drabby wardrobe can really set the holiday spirits down. Take some time and rearrange your wardrobe. Pick up some clothes, layer them and make new outfits outta them. I do it all the time and trust me, it makes me understand that you don’t always have to BUY clothes to have an amazing array of clothes. One just needs to be creative enough to make the best out of what they already have. YOU can also be CREATIVE by SNEAKING clothes from your family members. Yup. It is fun to see what kind of style they have and maybe you can discover some REALLY cool clothing pieces that they find useless and perhaps “BORROW” it from them. Non now, if you get beaten or anything, I am not taking any responsibilities. 🙂
2. Find a hobby to do every day for 25 days
Now is the perfect time to dedicate yourself to your favourite hobby, get better at it or maybe even try out a new hobby and do it everyday and see if you like it or not.
Lemme give you some ideas
- You can do holiday themed calligraphy
- Start Digital drawing (cause it s in trend) or you can do traditional drawing
- Blog writing or any sort of writing (cause why not? it is so fun ad once you do it regularly for 25 days, I am sure you will be ready to make an actual website to post all of what you have written)
- Read boks
You can literally do anything that you wanna do but don’t get time for. Perfect time. I personally really like this time of the year because the weather, the atmosphere and everything makes me feel energized and productive.
3. Do LOTS of BAKING !!!
Did someone say baking? COUNT ME IN 🙂 cause this girl LoOoOoves baking. Like LoOoOoOOoves baking
I am not THAT good when I bake alone but when me and my mother work together, we always end up with a masterpiece that we gobble up in no time!
Lemme give you some ideas on what to bake this season (I have also given links to websites from where I got these ideas)
1. Cinnamon Rolls
2. Red Velvet Jar Cake (because real cake takes more patience and effort and we don’t have time for that)
3. Rum Cake (although I HATE the taste, some people LOVE it so)
4. Cookies (Gingerbread Cookies !!! yum OR Chewy OATMEAL choco-chip cookies!!! wowwww I am drooling!!!!)
4. Play Secret Santa with your Family
HOW can I forget Secret Santa?? Ufff
We have finally done it this year and we ARE having the secret santa thingy. So basically I have to get a surprise gift for my mom, my mom for my dad and my dad will give a gift to me. A SURPRISE
Ya Ya, I know, in secret Santa, the whole POINT is to not know WHO has given WHOM WHAT.
But
in a small family, WHY go through all those complications right?
You can do this with your friends too. Super fun
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAND
THAT WAS IT!!
I normally don’t do recommendation sort of blogs, but this one was nice I guess. I hope you all have a safe and memorable holiday. Try not to do a BIG Christmas party this year. Have a small and safe one
Meet you next week
TA TA !!
